WMP Homeless Outreach - Community Efforts: August - December 2024

The WMP Homeless Outreach team served Downtown Los Angeles, Downtown Long Beach and surrounding areas for the past 5 months!
Homelessness continues to be severe with a lot of changes that have taken place, forcing unhoused men, women and children to continuously role with the punches and move all they own to new areas.
Sometimes the total disregard for the unhoused and their belongings by those who are in place to "protect and serve" is so inhumane (no time to gather belongs, being rushed to leave, ticketed) that individuals feel "pushed out" of one area into another without their necessities. The LORD sees all and by his grace we have provided: Bibles, clothing, shoes, toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), vitamins (for immunity support), reading materials (devotionals, etc.), lunches, snacks and bottled waters.
