Women Move Powerfully kicked off Our 1st Sock and Blanket Drive on October 27th and will wrap up January 27, 2022!
The WMP Homeless Outreach team started accepting new/gently used blankets and brand new socks to SPREAD WARMTH to singles, children and homeless families in Long Beach and Los Angeles.
On October 30th, The WMP Homeless Outreach team provided: toiletries, masks, writing/reading materials, vitamins, snacks, water, Subway lunches, socks and blankets to the unhoused.
Food provided: 6 inch turkey on wheat, 6 inch Italian on white, variety chips, snacks and bottled water.

> Mental Health Department (1975 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA)
> Mc Donald's (2599 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA)
