HEY THERE & WELCOME!
Meet 1st Generation College Grad, Breast Cancer Survivor, Case Manager/ Intake Specialist, Wife and Mommy from Compton, CA, Jackie!
Jackie is a supporter of Women Move Powerfully ✝ and recently shared what Women Moving Powerfully means to her:
WOMEN [who] ARE THE Strongest, Bravest [and most] Beautiful human beings out there in Life! 💕
When asked, "How do you Move Powerfully?" Jackie reflected on when she feels the most Powerful when she responded:
The moment I think I can't is when I must Believe I can!
When asked, "If you had to define who you are, what would you say?" Jackie shared:
I am a 1st Generation Grad from College. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor🙏💕 & a woman that never loses hope! I am very proud of myself and of the person I am becoming!
Jackie was asked, "What have you overcome in your life, that when you think back, has helped you to NOW Move Powerfully?":
I had Breast Cancer in 2009 and in 3yrs of battling cancer🎗 with Chemo I became a Survivor.💕 Now I might be battling it again but, I know with the faith I have in GOD I will be able to overcome this situation again. I am a STRONG WOMAN & I know I will beat whatever it is I have again🙏 I also completed the LA Marathon years back.
What are your thoughts on the growing homeless population in and around Los Angeles?
Honestly, it is a very sad situation & breaks my heart to see families in the street💔. In [the] past for Thanksgiving Day instead of eating with my family we went to the LA Mission to feed [the homeless] turkey and prepared their dinner. It made me feel so good to see the people smile.💙 We never know what will happen to ANY of US in the future, but one thing I know is to be grateful I have a roof on top of my head, because some people don't have that.
Any Final thoughts and/or words of encouragement - Jackie said:
To anyone out there battling any type of Cancer, Be Strong, Be Brave! GOD has a plan for us & HE wouldn't give us something we can't handle🎗🙏💕
